Cowboys Beat Falcons Behind Romo's Big Day

By Ross Everett

Dallas Cowboys' quarterback Tony Romo has been plagued by inconsistency over the past two seasons, but on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons he was in top form. Romo threw for 311 yards and 3 touchdowns with no interceptions as Dallas ripped the visiting Falcons by a final score of 37-21. Backup receiver Miles Austin had another solid game in place of injured starter Roy Williams, with 171 yards receiving and two touchdown grabs. Both teams are now 4-2 on the NFL season.

NFL betting enthusiasts who backed Dallas as -5' home favorite were rewarded with a pointspread victory. The Cowboys evened their mark against the NFL pointspread at 3-3, while Atlanta slipped to 4-2 against the number. The 58 points scored went OVER the posted total of 48.

In his postgame comments to the media, Romo gave props to the undrafted Austin for making the best of his opportunity:

"He's definitely a big part of this offense. I'm glad to see all his hard work and effort is paying off."

Dallas owner Jerry Jones commended Romo on his play:

"I think that you've got a wiser and you've got a more experienced Tony Romo than of old, and I think you see he's still got some of that instinctive thing that he can make plays and make winning plays."

The Cowboys' defense pestered the Falcons' Matt Ryan into two interceptions, and 34 year old Keith Brooking was a big part of that. Based on his comments after the game, there may be some 'sour grapes' after he was cut loose by the Falcons after 11 seasons in an Atlanta uniform:

"The last thing I was told by one of the coaches is this is a young man's game. I guess an old man can still play in this league."

Patrick Crayton returned a punt for a touchdown and caught a Romo pass for another. Cowboys' coach Wade Phillips had this praise for him:

"Crayton is the kind of guy you want on your football team. He's going to make plays when he has opportunities."

Losing quarterback Matt Ryan had little to say about the defeat:

"It's frustrating because we feel we can play better."

Atlanta has a difficult road challenge ahead as they travel south to face the red hot New Orleans Saints next Monday night. The Falcons have been installed as +10 road underdogs with the total set at 54. Dallas will host the Seattle Seahawks this weekend, with the Cowboys a -9' home favorite and the total set at 45. They'll play on the road the following two Sundays against the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers.

Gamer Testing Ground - Get Paid To Play Video Games From Home

By Neil Holloway

I above all people was skeptical if I could honestly make $150 per day working with Gamer Testing Ground playing the newest releases of games and checking for problems. All my friends did not believe when I told them I was a professional video game tester. I had my own doubts until I decided to take action and look into becoming a professional video game tester.

But after having tried it myself and been at it for six months now I can tell you that I have a great job! The truth is because so many are skeptical there are not as many game testers right now than there is demand. Let me share with you a bit about Gamer Testing Ground.

Why Do Video Game Companies Need Testers?

Gamer Testing Grounds will connect you with the top 50 gaming companies in the world who are looking for video gamers to test out the newest games before they are released. Over the past few months and I have been introduced to some of the programmers, they have come to trust and like my gaming ability, and need more testers right now. The simple reason is because programmers spend all their time making updates and improvements and do not have the time to play their games all day. Because of this fact they are willing to pay good money for individuals to play their games.

How Much Money Will I Make Testing Video Games For Gamer Testing Ground?

Let me say this before I continue. You need to enjoy playing video games before you visit, or else you will become bored rather quickly. The honest truth it does pay well (I now make around $175/day and as I become better I can move towards making $120/hour) because the more I test for companies the more I know eactly what they are looking for. Not everyone is willing to play video games even if you paid them for it.

Be Sure To Visit Gamer Testing Ground

The main reason why I am now doing this is because the pay is really good and I get to play the newest games. It is a steady stream of good income and I no longer need part time jobs. Another advantage that should not be overlooked is that I get to play from home while making money. So many games being released every year into a $50 billion industry, the job opportunities continue to grow and my work never stops.

Essential Tips To Enjoy A Caravan Holiday Without Hassles

By Juan Antonio Bravo

If you are busy with work and your kids need a brake from school perhaps what your family needs is an outdoors camping holiday. You might be surprised at the amount of fun you will have sharing memories around a campfire.

If you are planning a family holiday you will have to set an adequate budget for your travels. Here you need to think about how many people are going, if you will need any tents, whether you are taking a caravan, will you take your own cooking equipment and food; and the list goes on and on.

Depending on all of these factors you can prepare beforehand with the necessary camping equipment, so you don't have problems at the campsite.

Staying in tents can be uncomfortable as they can be small and constricting. If you are using them make sure they are spacious. An average person needs around 30sq feet in order to have comfort. A tent with heavy duty zippers and reinforced seams would be the wise choice.

Another important item in your list would be a suitable sleeping bag. There is a huge range of bags available to suit every shape, size and taste. Have a look at the weather forecast of the place you are visiting, this way you can have a rough idea of how warm your sleeping bag needs to be.

The next thing to consider is food. Normally when we are outside our homes, performing physical activities, our bodies consume more energy and those calories need to be replenished. A hot meal (plus plenty liquids) at the end of each day is exactly what the body needs. Before setting off, decide if you are doing your own cooking.

If you are doing your own cooking it's advisable to get the standard two-burner portable cooker found in most camping shops. You will also need to source the correct type of cooking gas, usually butane or propane depending where you live. A small pot and frying pan and you are set to cook outdoors.

Undoubtedly using a caravan or a recreational vehicle is a great option for added comfort and facilities, as it provides a better equipped living space at the campsite. Consider buying a caravan porch awning; you will enjoy all the extra living quarters you get. At a campsite the more space you have, the more comfort you will feel.

Given that travelling plans always create stress (somehow), the solution is to be well prepared and ready for any unexpected surprises. You will not regret spending a bit more money in buying better equipment for you camping holiday.

Gambling On Slots Online Casinos

By Simon M Skinner

RTG Casinos are one of the biggest and best online casinos in the business and they have a huge variety of online slots for you to enjoy. If you haven't played online slots before, you're in for a real treat. Not only will have a ball, but you can make some money at the same time too. How cool is that? But if you are considering taking up playing online slots as a moneymaking pastime, you are going to have to learn a few simple rules that will help you to make that money and to keep that shirt on your back, and that is what this article is all about.

Click the Payout Table

To begin your online slots session, you first go to what is called the Payout Table. From here you can enter the amount of coins that you intend to spend. Here are two points that you need to take on board.

* When you click on the "Bet One" button you increase your stake by one unit.

* If you decide that you want to wager the maximum amount, you simply click on the "Bet Max" button.

Hit the "Spin" Button

Setting the game in motion

Having first decided how much money you are going to spend, the next thing is to set the reels in motion, and to do this you click on the "Spin" function. It is quite acceptable to give those little reels a bit of raucous verbal encouragement to line up in a favorable manner; so, click on "Spin", shout your head off and wait with bated breath to see how they fall.

If your luck is in, you will end up with a winning combination, and you'll get that nice little feeling of satisfaction as you see you win flash up on screen in accordance with the payout schedule. A lot of players prefer to play the bonus option too because it gives them that extra spin, and the more times you spin, the more chances you have of getting a win.

But let's face it, it would actually become boring if you were to win all the time. After all, gambling is all about the thrill of the chase; will it or won't it? Take that away and it would just become boring. The only way to win of course is to carry on playing until you do so. If you just flirt with the game, spending a little but here, and a little bit there, you are not going to make any money in the long term. The best way is to set your self a limit that you can afford, and that will give you a good session, and then just make sure that you play within your set limit. You must be disciplined or you run the risk of losing a lot of money.

This is a simple operation, really. Just click on the "Select Lines" button and see more and more paylines flashing before your screen the more you click on it. To buy more credits, you have to click on the "Bank" button, which will open the banking system for the online slot games. You can then purchase your desired number of additional credits. Then, you will exit the bank to return to the online slot game or to the casino lobby.

You're bound to want to vary the amount of your bet and it's pretty straight forward to do so. Just go to the "Select Lines" button and click. Each time you click, you will notice that you see more "pay-lines" appearing on your screen. Then if you decide that you need more cash to play with, you simply go to the "Bank" button, give it a click and it will open the casino's online banking facility. Enter the amount of cash you want, and then you can click back to the online game, or if you prefer, you can click over to the Casino's Lobby.

Top 8 Ways To Spot A Poker Bluff (Even Online!)

Spotting a poker bluff online is tricky. In offline play, you can watch body language and get physical cues as to when someone is bluffing. Usually unless they are a professional, all poker players give off signs they are bluffing through body language. Online, though, you don't have the ability to read body language, so how can you tell if someone is bluffing?

People still give off signals, even online, that they are bluffing. Some are better at covering, but others are a little loose and easy to catch. Either way, the following are 8 ways that you can spot a poker bluff online.

1. Pay attention to chatter. Some people cannot seem to hold their tongue. Some people who bluff will be chatting away. What they say may not match up to how they play and that is what you are watching for. Players may just reveal their bluff in what they say without ever realizing it.

2. A person bluffing may raise before the flop and quickly raise again. They are driving up the pot and hoping you don't have a hand you feel confident about.

3. If someone jumps into the game quickly or chooses to sits out and then changes their mind right as the cards are being dealt then they are someone to watch. They probably won't have a good hand, but are simply impatient. If they keep raising or they call quickly then chances are they are bluffing.

4. It is always smart to watch someone who goes all in with a low show on the table. This person may just be ready to call it a day and figures why not go out on a high note.

5. Get to know playing styles. The best players mix up their style, but your average player will usually follow the same general patterns. If someone starts playing odd then they should be watched. They may have a good hand, but chances are they are trying to bluff. Get to know the other players styles so you can spot when things are not quite right.

6. Watch aggressive or loose players. If you notice someone who is always playing aggressively then you never really know when to trust them because they cannot possible have an amazing hand every time.

7. Another thing about watching players - watch what is shown at the end. If someone keeps falling short then you know they like to bluff and you will keep an eye on them in the future.

8. People who play fast are a danger. Someone who is just playing fast and not putting thought into what they are doing is a loose cannon. They may not even have a clue how to play. Don't let them get you. Watch what they play and don't buy into their bluff.

These 8 ways to spot a poker bluff should help you to start being able to cut through the bluffs that are thrown your way online. After some practice and some time you should start to be able to spot online bluffs just as easily as you do during an offline game.

What You Need To Know To Buy Karaoke CDGs & DVD Discs

By Chris Bailey

When establishing your own karaoke library, there are a number of distinct components you must look out for when choosing the right karaoke CDs and DVDs. The largest thing to remember is always make sure your karaoke machine can manage the right format of the Cd Discs or Dvd Discs that you are purchasing.

While nearly all karaoke systems are able to address most formats, and most karaoke Cd Discs and Dvd / Cdg Discs work on most systems, it is advisable to double check to ascertain that your buys will not be done in waste. If using a more state-of-the-art karaoke system, virtually all are able to manage almost all formats karaoke Cd Discs and Dvd Discs, but by working through the formatting it will handle it will make sure you are not frustrated when it does not function. By simply double-checking, you can set your mind at ease and be convinced that your purchase will function without a headache.

If you desire to start your own personalised music karaoke library by buying karaoke disks, make sure you choose the ones that you know will be used. While most people would like to have a complete library that embraces all music styles and genres, it can become senseless to buy a number of tracks that you have no interest in ever singing.

It is smarter to hunt for karaoke disks that have what you are searching for. In this aspect ascertain that your purchase will be put to good use instead of just collecting dust. Notwithstanding if you are somebody who is incessantly throwing karaoke events or inviting acquaintances over to enjoy your karaoke system, please ascertain that your titles comprises a massive spectrum of best-selling karaoke songs.

There is nothing wrong in having your individual collection that is suited specifically to your tastes, but if you are a massive fan of country and your acquaintances totally adore hard rock music, it will turn your karaoke event into a bore and cause some dull.

Lastly, what you have to keep in mind when determining what karaoke Cd Discs and Dvd Discs you are buying is what you will get the most use out of. If you're aspiring to be the next American Idol, then look for unique titles that hold tracks that you will sing, but if you require to use your karaoke system for a bit of social pleasure, look at collections or karaoke Cd Discs that address a universal range of songs. That way, everybody can join in the fun of karaoke singing

Bar Girls: Friendly if faulty romantic comedy with a twist: most of its chief characters are lesbians who assemble at L.A.'s Girl Bar. The core personality is compulsive, wryly ludicrous Loretta Wolfe, a female Woody Allen who desires an exact better half but not truly grasping what it means to genuinely and entirely love another person. The film's shortcomings are made up for by witty discussion and believable characters. Cast includes Nancy Allison Wolfe, Liza D'Agostino, Camila Griggs, Justine Slater, Lisa Parker, and Pam Raines. (95 minutes, 1994)

Copycat: Helen Hudson is being asked out of retirement to investigate a baffling set of murders. Hudson is a forensic psychologist specialized in serial killers. With detective M.J. Monahan, the two start to uncover the mystery. When the killer learns the two are tracking him, they become his next target.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Cute variance on vampire legends, with high school valley girl Swanson turning out to be "the selected one" of her generation to kill wandering vampires. Sutherland is superlative as her mentor and guide, and Reubens the prior Pee-wee Herman is fun as one of the fanged bullies. Look for Ben Affleck as a basketball player. Cast includes Kristy Swanson, Donald Sutherland, Paul Reubens, Rutger Hauer, Luke Perry, and Gregson Wagner. (86 minutes, 1992)

Positive vs Negative Focus

By Jason Kendall

Look in any bookshop at their Best Seller list today, and you'll see a mass of autobiographies of the rich and famous. From empire builders to glamour models to footballers, they all tell a different story, but each has a thread in common - they focused on the positives and overcame adversity.

That's the way of the world; life's achievers allow positive reasons why 'they can' to flood their consciousness, and drown out negative reasons why they can't.

For the trainee, this attitude to studying is vital. To complete a training program successfully, the biggest tool in a student's workbox is a positive mindset. An optimistic outlook brings about all sorts of circumstances, possibilities, answers and opportunities to achieve. On the other hand, a negative outlook blocks creativity and numbs our learning receptors.

This is down to our Reticular Activation System - an automatic mechanism in our brain that tells us what to focus on. Throughout our lives, we've experienced many things that no longer stay in the forefront of our minds - the bulk of what we've learned moves from our conscious mind to our sub-conscious mind, a kind of store cupboard stocked up with all our past knowledge and beliefs.

When we attempt consciously to do something, our RAS (Reticular Activation System) will search for any relevant information in the sub-conscious mind, and bring it to our attention. If we're taking a walk down a street, only the things that have meaning to us will be noticed - the rest is just background noise.

Therefore, if our conscious mind has generally been transferring positive, upbeat messages to our sub-conscious mind, then that's what it will send back. But if our sub-conscious has been fed a bunch of defeatist, downbeat messages, then equally that's also what will come back.

It appears that achievers can manipulate the messages going through to their sub-conscious minds by deliberately programming their RAS, and selecting the exact messages the conscious mind transfers. For achieving goals this makes it an essential tool, because the sub-conscious mind can't distinguish between real or imaginary events.

In other words, as it believes what it's told, we need to create a very specific picture of our goal in our conscious mind. The RAS will then pass this on to our subconscious - which will then help us achieve the goal. It does this by bringing to our attention all the relevant information which otherwise might have remained as 'background noise'.

Napoleon Hill once wrote that we can attain any realistic goal if we keep that goal clearly in our mind, and stop allowing any negative thoughts about it. If we keep thinking that we can't achieve a goal, of course, our subconscious will help us not to achieve it.

How To Count Cards

Card counting is a common strategy used to play and win at blackjack. If you have wanted to learn how to count cards, but have been worried it is too hard, then read on. You are about to learn simple steps to counting cards that will get you started. If you want additional information there are plenty of great resources all over the internet that teach the various methods of card counting. This should be enough, though, to get you started in card counting.

The high-low system is one of the most common methods of counting cards. It is also one of the easiest systems to understand. Before you start to learn how to count cards, you need to understand that card counting is not really about counting the actually number of cards, but rather figuring the ratio of high to low cards that remain in the deck. It may seem confusing, but just follow along and you should start to understand.

Assigning Values

In the high-low system you will assign point values to each card. Low cards include 2,3,4,5 and 6. These cards get a value of plus one. High cards are the 10,jack,queen,king and ace. These cards get a value of minus one. Neutral cards are the 7,8 and 9. They get no value assigned to them.

To begin with learning to count cards you should practice memorizing the values of each card. Go through a deck over and over reciting the card values until you are sure you have them memorized.

Keep the Running Count

Once you are feeling that you have the card values memorized you can start working with keeping a running count. This is more practice to get you ready for the actual game.

To keep a running count you start with a value of 0. As you flip over cards from your deck you will add or subtract the values. For example, if you have a king, queen, 2 and 8 you would end up with a count of minus 1.

Keeping the running count will likely take much more practice that just memorizing the values. It is essential, though, that you get keeping the running count down perfectly. You should keep practicing until it becomes like second nature and you don't hesitate anymore in figuring the count.

True Count

Once you are ready to play an actual game and count the cards during the game you will go from a running count to the true count. To do this you keep the running count and divide it by the number of cards remaining in the deck. The true count will tell you what to bet.

If the true count is positive then bet more. If it is negative then don't bet as much. This allows you to play smart and only bet when you have a good chance of winning. In the end you will likely win more than you lose. Card counting can be a great way to start improving your odds at the blackjack table and help you start to make more when you play.

The Early Years Of MMA: Ali Vs. Inoki

By Ross Everett

Decades before mixed martial arts became popular in the United States, events matching fighters of different fighting disciplines were very common in Japan. They weren't called "mixed martial arts" at the time, but that's essentially what they were. There's an entire history of pro wrestlers fighting specialists from other martial arts (particularly judo) that were leaving out, but during the 1970's Antonio Inoki began to put the concept of "mixed martial arts" on the map with his matches against fighters from other disciplines.

Before and after his matchup against Muhammad Ali, Inoki would frequently compete against other martial artists in what are widely accepted to be "worked" (ie: having a predetermined outcome) matches. Inoki fought boxer Chuck Wepner, judo Gold Medalist Wilhelm Ruska and world karate champion Willie Williams among others. His most famous match internationally, however, was against Ali.

There's a great deal of uncertainty about many of the stories surrounding how the event came together and transpired, but a few facts are now known. Ali took the fight as it was a large and presumptively easy paycheck. The big money he was earning is what kept him from walking out when his camp started to disagree with Inoki's handlers over the rules and 'finish' fo the fight. Some suggest that it was supposed to be a fair fight going in, but Ali at the last minute insisted on rules more favorable to him. The more likely version of events is that Ali's handlers agreed to a predetermined finish, only to have Ali balk at the last moment.

By the time the fight began, Ali's handlers had obtained a ridiculously one sided set of rules that prohibited Inkoi from using a closed fist, striking Ali in the head at all, using any chokes or submissions or even trying to take the fight to the ground. Were it not for the huge amount of money he'd be leaving on the table, Inoki would have been justified in not fighting at all under these highly restrictive and one-sided conditions.

Despite the repeated howls from the media that the fight was 'fixed', it was anything but--it was a real fight and painfully boring. Ali did next to nothing, Inoki did whatever he could within the one sided rules. Eventually, Inoki spent most of the fight on the ground trying to throw kicks at Ali's legs. The event ended up as a 74-74 draw. Both fighters got paid, and the fans got to watch a fight albeit a really, really bad one.

An interesting postscript to the fight is that the referee was former pro wrestler "Judo" Gene Labell, a legit tough guy whom some have suggested could have beaten up both Ali and Inoki at the same time despite his advanced age. Had he chosen to do so, it would certainly have been welcomed by those watching the fight live and on closed circuit.

In the aftermath of the fight, Inoki's popularity was greater than ever--in a perverse way he was something of a hero due to his trying to fight despite the rules being stacked so soundly against him. He remained one of the country's most popular professional wrestlers and even enjoyed a career in Japan's parliament. Without missing a beat, he quickly resumed his series of fights against other martial artists who were apparently all more comfortable with the "worked" environment of pro wrestling. Among his "victims" was none other than Leon Spinks, presumably serving as some sort of vindication for his draw with Ali. The popularity of these matches led to a number of promotions that were essentially hybrids of martial arts and pro wrestling, and these led to the big Japanese MMA promotions of today.

Muscle Building Deadly Sins You Must Avoid

By Ricardo d Argence

If you want to build up muscle over time, it's crucial for you to develop good habits. Building muscle continuously requires you to be regularly doing the right thing and taking the right steps. Unfortunately, people sometimes get into bad habits without being aware that they're risking their health and adversely affecting their progress. To help you make the right decisions, here is a list of the 7 worst muscle building habits and how to avoid them:

1.) The worst sin in body building: Taking steroids. For so many, many reasons this is a horrible thing to do to yourself, from acne, swelling, bad breath, discoloration of the skin, dizziness and trembling, nausea, vomiting, mood swings, balding, liver damage, high blood pressure, heart palpitations, cardiovascular disease, aching joints, and even a slight loss of height! Not to mention testicular shrinkage, importance, pain while urinating, sterility, and the development of breasts. Simply put, don't take steroids.

2) Attempting to lift weights that are too heavy. Being competitive and trying to beat your training partner might be good motivation, but it's important to be careful. If you lift too much weight, then you're increasing your chances of injury, which can cause you to lose form and slow your muscle building progress. If you need to use momentum to lift or lower the weight, or can't do so under complete control, then the weight is too heavy.

3) Consuming too much protein. An average persons protein intake level should be 0.8-1 gram of protein/kilo of bodyweight/day and a muscle building athlete ought not to take on board more than 1.7 grams per bodyweight kilo. Consuming more protein than this increase the likelihood of getting osteoporosis and also it could lead to irreversible kidney damage. Also your risk of heart disease is increased because a by product of protein metabolism homo-cysteine can cause damage to your heart over time!

4) Taking stimulants. Stimulants might not be prohibited, but they often come with numerous dangerous side effects, and it would be wise to exercise caution when taking them - or better yet, not using them at all. Stimulants such as ephedrine have been known to cause heart palpitations, heart attacks and strokes. For a less dangerous pick-me-up, try a caffeine pill instead. If you have any concerns at all about what you're taking, be sure to get a doctor's opinion first.

5) Some people seem to think that training on an empty stomach will make them burn off more fat. However your energy comes from carbohydrate therefore if you haven't eaten you will have far less energy and have virtually no chance of having a good workout. You will be unable to lift more than your previous best and you will probably be left shaking, jittery and even dizzy after your workout possibly due to low blood sugar levels. Instead have a pre-workout meal including thing like rice, vegetables and fruit.

6.) A failure to stretch properly. To prevent muscle tears, ligament strains, and debilitating cramps, be sure to get your body ready for your workout by stretching. Even taking ten minutes out of your day can help you improve your range of motion, your posture, and most importantly, your performance.

7) Not keeping a training diary. Without this how do you intend to monitor your progress? How can you keep a track on your personal best lifts. A training log is very motivating and simple to do. Why do you not make use of one.

So, keep an eye on those seven deadly sins of muscle building, and with a good dash of common sense, you should be able to avoid all of the bad and dangerous habits and have a healthy, safe workout.

The Science Of Street Combat

By David Weinberg

If your life was in jeopardy at knife point, would you know how to respond? What if your wife or child was being assaulted by multiple attackers right in front of you? It does not matter whether you like to fight or not. It is critical that you learn some basic martial art strategies in case you find yourself in a bad place at a bad time.

Fights in the ring and altercations on the street often last a long time. As both fighters maintain their balance this allows them to exchange back and forth with a variety of strikes and wrestling maneuvers. If you focus on disrupting the opponent's balance the moment the confrontation begins he will have a difficult time trying to defeat you while simultaneously struggling to regain his balance. That is arguably one of the most powerful yet overlooked principles of the martial arts.

You must focus on immediately unbalancing your attacker. If your assailant has his balance he can overpower you. If you quickly take his balance he cannot fight you and fight for his balance at the same time. Taking your opponent's balance is a quick and effective martial arts tactic for ending confrontations swiftly.

In street combat your kicks should be placed low. Even if you are a phenomenal martial artist throwing high kicks in the street can be dangerous when you are facing weapons or multiple attackers. It makes you too susceptible to being countered and taken down to the ground. Low kicks can be devastating and can easily blow out an attacker's knee.

It is important to learn to recognize the nine angles of attack. Many martial art schools over complicate their teachings by having their students memorize hundreds of random techniques. If you can learn to spot the nine angles it makes no difference if an assailant comes at you with his right or left hand, a kick, a charge, a bat, a knife, a crowbar, or a machete. There are only nine angles that you may be attacked on and if you learn to recognize them you will always have an answer for surviving an encounter.

It is crucial that you learn to be a creative and adaptive martial artist. If you only memorize techniques what will happen when someone attacks you in an unfamiliar way with a weapon that you never trained against? You can learn to nurture your mind's creative eye and your ability to instantly adapt to any situation once you learn to spot the underlying principles of martial science. Once you learn to see principles you will be able to create in the midst of combat by inventing your own techniques and counters.

You must train your emotions and spirit to make your martial arts work on the street. Some people only focus on their physical training. That is important, but if you do not develop the emotional control of your fear and anger through breath work, meditation, and reality based training your physical techniques may not be enough to help you survive a highly stressful life and death encounter. The maxim of training mind, body, and spirit is as true today as it was thousands of years ago.

How The Top Poker Players Will Beat You

Have you ever wondered how the professional poker players get so good? What tricks do they use? What skills have they developed to be able to win so big? Most of all, how can you learn these things so you can start playing like a pro?

You need to develop the characteristics of a top poker player. You need to practice and start figuring out what things the pros do that you should do. Here are some tips on how to play like a pro:

- Know that you will lose. It is a fact that you will not win every hand. However, accept it. Don't let it get you down. Don't get into a slump. Don't let yourself believe that the odds are against you just because you see to be having a bad day. The odds stay the same. If you generally can expect that you have a 3% chance of losing in any given game then you will always have that 3% chance of loss. It doesn't matter what kind of day you are having.

- Focus on winning. Being greedy is a part of playing the game. Your goal is to win. Every player at the table has that same goal. You have to be focused on yourself. Don't make friends at the table. You should always be out for yourself and only yourself. Being greedy gets you focused and makes you better able to win.

- Don't bring your problems to the table. A good player leaves life behind when they sit down at the table. If you cannot get past something that has happened in your outside life then just don't play. You have to leave everything behind in order to really play the game.

- You must be focused and dedicated tot he game. Top players know that focus is key. You cannot be thinking about anything but the game. You cannot let anything take your attention away from the game. You must put everything into the game and be dedicated 100%.

Professional poker players are serious about the poker game. They are not out there to just have fun and socialize. They are there to win. If you want to play like a pro then you have to think and act like one. They look so serious for a reason - they are serious.

You have to have the right attitude and your mind must be focused. If you really want to be a top player then you can be. Just follow all the advice in this article, stick to it and one day you will be the top player everyone envies.

The Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band Review

By James Ronald Wellingston

I think because of the massive amount of attention that is given to this album's so called "historical significance" that sometimes not enough attention is given to the music itself. I hope to correct that imbalance with this review which focuses entirely on the album's 13 tracks.

01. "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" - This opening track really sets the mood for the entire album. The song shifts styles abruptly just like the album does from song to song. And of course the crowd noise and the entire "Sgt. Pepper" concept are introduced here.

02. "With a Little Help from my Friends" - I much prefer this original Beatles version over the completely over the top Joe Cocker version that is probably more famous at this point (mostly because it was used as the theme song to the very popular Wonder Years TV show.) To me it's the perfect song for Ringo to sing and of course John & Paul wrote it specifically for Ringo. It fits like a glove. What a brilliant song.

03. "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" - Now that the original mono version is available easily (with the release of The Beatles in Mono Box Set) it's great to be able to hear what this album sounds like in mono (how it was "meant to be heard" originally.) And the heavy vocal effects on this song is probably one of the more interesting things about the mono mixes for me.

04. "Getting Better" - The "it couldn't get much worse" lyric that Lennon added to this McCartney song is such a great example of the way that Lennon and McCartney made each others songs better even when they weren't righting them "eyeball to eyeball" like in the early days.

05. "Fixing a Hole" - Possibly the best lyrics Paul McCartney ever wrote. Another one of my favorites on an album filled with favorites.

06. "She's Leaving Home" - More great lyrics from Paul McCartney. What a gorgeous song too. Paul was definitely at the top of his game in 1967.

07. "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite" - What a deliciously weird song this is. It's brilliant how "far out" this album takes you. It's like a journey to different parts of the world (and certainly there is time traveling involved as well.)

08. "Within You Without You" - This is a song that gets a lot of hate by a lot of people and that makes me sad. It makes me feel like they don't really "get it." This song is an essential part of what makes this album so brilliant.

09. "When I'm 64" - Some people don't seem to get how "tongue in cheek" this song is. McCartney loved to mess around with different musical styles in this way. In fact I think Ween sort of ripped off their whole shtick from Paul McCartney. Listen to McCartney's "fruity" songs (as George Harrison called them sometimes) from the perspective of Ween doing them and I think maybe they'll click.

10. "Lovely Rita" - In an album filled with stand-out tracks, this one is probably somewhat forgettable in comparison. Of course it's still a great song.

11. "Good Morning Good Morning" - John was inspired by a Kellogg's Corn Flakes commercial to write this song. Pretty cool lead guitar bits played by Paul.

12. "Sgt. Pepper's (Reprise)" - Rocks harder than the first version. I love how it ties the album together and it's brilliant how this closing version is "looser" just like a band may be looser at the end of a real show. And that's what the concept of this album was all about after all. The idea was that this album would "go on tour" rather than the band themselves.

13. "A Day in the Life" - In my opinion this is the best song ever written. An absolutely epic way to end the album.

Choosing a Panasonic TX-L37S10

By Melinda Proctor

Buying a TV requires some knowledge about the difference in TVs. There are literally hundreds of new types and brand names, different shapes, multiple sizes, and thousands of features and accessories to choose from. You should at least have a working knowledge of the difference in the basic functions before going off on a TV shopping adventure.

You may run into questions like 'do you need, or do you want, an S-video input'? What about some RCA jacks, do you think you'll need those? And a digital comb filter, is that absolutely necessary? More questions than these can arise when you get into the different types and uses of the today TV. So learning a little about them goes a long way in your decision.

America seems to be sold on the idea that bigger things are better things. But is this a reality in shopping for a TV? There are some small TVs that you can't see through a squint, and some large ones that are so blurred you feel you need to sit a block away. So knowing what size fits the room you're going to put it in goes a long way with deciding your viewing quality.

Whenever you shop for TVs and are looking at screens, you should know that size is taken from the diagonal measurement of the screen, not top to bottom. When dealing with a flat-bottom TV you don't need as much room as with, say, a rear-projection CRT. The flat panel can be hung on the wall and furniture layout doesn't factor in as much.

If you're considering a large screen of 40 inches or more, you might take a look at a rear-projection CRT. What they do is form a combination screen/projector and add them within one single box. The image is thrown onto the back of the screen by the projector, and then you're able to view it from in front.

There are three cathode ray tubes that make up the colors of blue, red, and green that get thrown onto the projection screen. Home theaters have been the biggest advocates of this type of TV. Some of the advantages for you are getting the biggest screen for your money with great picture quality and good black level.

A few of the disadvantages of these giants are their heaviness and deepness, and the fact that they can't be watched under bright light. They're tough to maintain, and the have quite a slim angle of viewing. But they still deliver quality color viewing and have been used for years by countless thousands.

Now take your flat panel plasma TVs on the other hand. They're rolling out of the stores like wildfire. They're slim and have large screens, which makes them ever popular with consumers. You have your choice of either 'LCD' or 'Plasma'. The LCDs function much like a laptop computer. And the Plasma TVs operate by lighting up thousands of little small fluorescent lights.

Buying a TV like the Panasonic TX-L37S10 can be overwhelming, unless you educate yourself a bit and learn about the basic differences in them. Remember this about the plasma TV. It has a higher resolution than the CRTs through the use of digital signals. But some of them can still fall short of displaying the total resolution of an HDTV. That's why they're called enhanced-definition rather than high definition. It pays to do a little research before you shop.

Quality Reports On A Cross Section Of Big Screen Pictures

Movie reviews follow this paragraph. If you are looking for a movie download site here are some phrases to search. To get some good sites try to search phrases like "Burn DVDs", "Download Movie Online Rental", or "DVD Movie Rentals".

Rocky Balboa: Rocky, now a 6O-ish widower and restaurant owner, who's disassociated from his business yuppie son (Ventimiglia), plans to re-enter the ring one last time to battle the present Heavyweight Champ. Not as poor as it may have been, even though it strains credibility; contrived, to be certain, although additionally curiously admiring. A number of ESPN-type Television identities appear as themselves. Cast includes Sylvester Stallone, Burt Youthful, Milo Ventimiglia, Geraldine Hughes, James Francis Kelly Sick, Tony Burton, A. J. Benza, Henry G. Sanders, and Antonio Tarver. (102 minutes, 2006)

The Shadow: Lamont Cranston, having lived a life of ethical degradation, is "reborn" as a single minded crime fighter with the talent to haze gentlemen's minds. This adaptation of the venerable mush novels and cherished radio shows (carried to the theaters before in the late 1930s and in a 1940 series) comes frustratingly close to succeeding, although flounders. Cranston is both inscrutable and boring. Incredible production layout and wonderful outcomes get lost in a film that keeps the viewer at Ann's magnitude all the way through. What a waste of an awesome supporting cast! Cast includes Alec Baldwin, John Lone, Penelope Ann Miller, Peter Boyle, Ian McKellen, Tim Curry, Jonathan Winters, and Sab Shimono. (105 minutes, 1994)

Afurika Monogatari: Guide Sayer crashes his jet in wilds of Africa and comes upon a game conserve. Even old Jimmy is uninteresting. The movie was filmed in Kenya. Cast includes James Stewart, Philip Sayer, Kathy, Eleanora Vallone, and Heekura Simba. (120 minutes, 1981)

Jupiter's Darling: Lavish musical of Robert Sherwood's Street to Rome, which weighs down in boredom. Williams is a temptress who dallies with Hannibal (Keel) to stop an attack on Rome. Cast includes Esther Williams, Howard Keel, George Sanders, Marge and Gower Victor, and Norma Varden. (96 minutes, 1955)

Scandalous: A feather brained sham in regards to investigative TV journalist who runs afoul of a team of con artists as he tries to extricate himself from a homicide charge. Cast includes Robert Hays, John Giegud, Pamela Stephenson, and Jim Dale. (94 minutes, 1984)

The Believer: A brutal evaluation of a yeshiva informed youthful guy in N.Y.C. who opts to become a neo-Nazi skinhead. Gosling gives a stellar performance as a Jew (loosely based on truth) whose rationale is controversial however whose desire is genuine. R. Cast includes Ryan Gosling, Summer Phoenix, Billy Zane, Theresa Russell, Glenn Fitzgerald, Ronald Guttman, and Henry Bean. (98 minutes, 2002)

A Scandal in Paris: A fashionable 8th century tale based on the recollections of the infamous Frenchman Eugene Vidocq, whose life of crime comes to a crossroads while he confronts a youthful lady who cherishes him. The clever script was tailor-made for Sanders. Cast includes George Sanders, Carole Landis, Akim Tarniroff, Signe Hasso, Gene Lockhart, Alan Napier, and Alma Kruger. (106 minutes, 1946)

Marie Antoinette: This film is a visually sumptuous account of an adolescent's voyage from Vienna to the Palace at Versailles and the throne of France. Author-director Coppola's Marie (as played by Dunst) is a modern-day gal, with contemporary music set contrary to the pomp and circumstance of the 18th century life. Starts to tire eventually and ends with a cry, not a smash although there's much to like here. Cast includes Kirsten Dunst, Jason Schwartzman, Judy Davis, Tear Tom, Steve Coogan, Rose Byrne, Asia Argento, Molly Shannon, Shirley Henderson, Danny Huston, Marianne Faithfull, Mary Nighy, and Sarah Adler. (123 minutes, 2006)

Slaughter's Big Rip-off: A murderer is still playing games with the Mob in this dull action film. McMahon gives more effort to his role as the mob boss than it merits. Cast includes Jim Brown, Ed McMahon, Brock Peters, Don Stroud, Gloria Hendry, Dick Anthony Williams, and Art Metrano. (93 minutes, 1973)

Roulette Bandit Roulette System

By Frank Shaw

Roulette Bandit is another roulette system I have tried. Anyone that has been looking for an online roulette system recently has no doubt come across this roulette bandit character and been intrigued by his website.

Pretty much every roulette system that I have seen on the internet comes with what I like to call a "sexy" website. What this means is that there are lots of bold claims about easy money and pictures of luxury resorts etc.

The roulette bandit seemed a lot blunter about what could be achieved with roulette and the website is very convincing so I decided to go for it. While I don't agree with some of the things the roulette bandit says it is still a very good and informative website.

Upon receiving the roulette bandit eBook I had a bit of a shock. Despite my experience playing online roulette I was expecting a simple betting pattern but it is actually rather complicated and it took me a while to get used to it.

After a week of digesting the information I had been given I was ready to put it into practice. It was worth my time learning the betting patterns because they actually work. It requires some patience to use but an upside is that it doesn't require a large bankroll.

After a few weeks of using the system I am pretty confident in saying that the roulette bandit system is a long term one, it is very slow and steady it can't win money very quickly like some other systems that I have tried but it also doesn't lose money quickly because you never place any large bets.

I haven't seen anything like the system that the roulette bandit gives you. Most systems are what's known as sleeper systems, what this means is that they bet on a dozen or a line when it hasn't appeared for a pre determined amount of spins, the roulette bandit's method is very different to this.

My only slight reservation about the roulette bandit system is the complexity of it. You tend to find that most systems these days are in a software format and while some of them aren't very good they are very easy to use.

Don't misinterpret what I'm saying here, the roulette bandit has done a very good job in outlining the system but it requires some time to learn and then implement it unlike a software application which is ready to go from the start.

Overall I think the roulette bandit system is probably the best that I have bought. The reason I say this is because I haven't experienced any losses with it and while I cannot win money really fast with it I can win slowly and consistently and my winnings over the last few weeks have started to build up.

Vintage Fender Telecaster- The Little Crude Wooden Guitar that Could

By Christopher Beachum

Don't matter what type of guitar you may collect every one can agree on one guitar to add to their collection. A vintage Fender Telecaster is wanted by every collector. How come? Well it was the first solid bodied electric guitar out on the market and its impact on the music industry was fascinating and still seen today.

It took 17 years of set backs and experimentation to create the better known as "Tele". The true original name of the Telecaster was the Esquire. The Esquire was first distributed in 1950, its life span , however, would be a short one. Only around 50 of these guitars were ever made and they were recalled due to a manufacturing error. Leo was not discourage though.

He updated the guitars features and re-released it later that year and renamed it the Fender Broadcaster. Once again luck would not be on Leo's side and the Gretsch Company would complain Leo violating their copy righted "Broadkaster" line of drums.

Leo once again would not be shaken by this set back and he renamed his guitar after the newly popular meduim, the television. Hence the Fender Telecaster. The Telecaster repaid him for all of his years of trial and error. It hit the market and caused a frenzy in the guitar world. The once dismissed solid body electric guitar now was the new thing. Leo had changed music history forever.

With the release of the Telecaster the new players not only like the sound, but liked the way that the guitar was put together. It was rather simple to fix. The components were not individually constructed like most guitars at the time, but were mass manufactured. You would think with such a strategy that the performance of the guitar would suffer, but it did not. The Telecaster was sawed and routed from slabs, not hand-carved, necks were bolted and not glued, and the fretboards was a single piece with the neck not separate. Just a few examples of many neat features...

IPod Repair Tips and Tricks

By Connie Jonestons

You love your iPod, we all do, but what if something happens and your iPod breaks? Your first thought is'Oh my God, I won't most likely survive without my iPod!' Well that may be my first thought anyway.

shall we say the iPod dropped from your pocket while you were jogging and broke into one thousand small pieces ; no-brainer, time to get a new iPod. Shall we say your iPod just started acting weird and ceased to work, or it fell into the water but you got it out quickly so it couldn't potentially have got all that wet. And, of course, this all occurs after the guaranty on the iPod ends.

Just in case you perchance damage your iPod straight after you buy it, Apple provides free one year from date of purchase warranty on iPods. The warranty does not include damages due to accident, liquid damage, disassembly or unauthorized service or modifications. So fundamentally only if your iPod stops working for some unknown reason is it covered by Apple. They also offer, for a further fee, and extended guaranty plan that extends to two years from the date of purchase.

Great, but my iPod is beyond the guaranty or extended guaranty date, or is damaged by a means that makes it excused from the warranty. So, what to do? I might be thinking it could be worth looking into getting my damaged iPod repaired instead of heading out and buying a newer one. As we all know, we adore them but they aren't inexpensive.

A fast Google search will find several internet sites saying they can gladly fix your broken iPod for you. O.K, let's think about this what is the actually damage to the iPod and is it worth buying a new Ipod or getting the broken iPod repaired?

You dropped the iPod and the screen is cracked. You find a website where a company asserts they can replace your screen. OK, this is worth looking into ; it needs to be less expensive than replacing the iPod.

Your iPod battery is going running out of juice faster and faster. Makes sense that you'd need a new battery. Okay, this is worth looking into ; again, it should be cheaper than replacing the iPod.

If you are only getting sound from one ear bud, it may be a damaged headphone jack. Again, makes sense it would be cheaper to replace a headphone jack than replacing the iPod.

Your iPod absolutely died. It did not fall in the water. It did not hit the floor. But it is dead, not a good sign. It might be the hard drive died, and it might just be time to kill it and go to the store for a newer one. But some people never give up all that easily. If you need a diagnosis of death, or a postmortem to find out why your iPod died, or are maybe interested by learning whether a transplant that would bring your iPod back to life, there are web sites that say they can perform these services for you.
